Bhangra Dancers & Dhol Drummers

Dynamite for any event; bhangra is great fun, passionate and energetic; the dancers are accompanied by a drum, which is known as a dhol which is a large two headed barrel shaped wooden drum played with 2 sticks - the dhol is amazing to experience when played live!

The dancers follow the beats of the drum, which gives the dancers a cue to change the step. This live element means all performances are different, and can cater for the different needs of the audience. The dynamic performance from our male dance team includes acrobatic moves and even dancing with swords!!!

What is bhangra dancing?

Bhangra is probably more instantly recognised by Western audiences as the style of Indian dance performed to"Chaiyya Chaiyya" from Bombay Dreams. Traditionally bhangra is a famous folk dance from the Punjab in North India. This dance is mainly performed at joyous occasions such as Weddings and festivals.
